Spiritism Explained
The 7 minute film clip above will give you a peek into Spiritist Therapies in Brazil. Dagmar Ramos, MD, (psychiatrist, medium, and Master Constellation teacher and practitioner) offers her perspective on some people initially diagnosed with psychosis who were given training to harness their psychic sensitivities and later became excellent mediums — helping in diagnosis and treatment within psychiatric hospitals.
The goal of Spiritists is to support evolution, i.e. the growth of compassion and wisdom, and helping those with psychic gifts to harness their gifts to benefit others is a vital step they offer the community.
The film sequences above were produced by Phil Borges and Kevin Tomlinson, co-producers of the film "Crazywise". They attended one IMHU Spiritist seminar in Brazil, initially considering that story as the centerpiece for their film-to-be. Short interviews with participants in that seminar are available for viewing HERE
